नेताजी सुभाष चंद्र बोस ने 1943 को आज ही के दिन 21 अक्टूबर सिंगापूर में आजाद हिंद सरकार की स्थापना की गई थी इस सरकार की गठन में जापान की आर्थिक और राजनीतिक एवं सैन्य मदद मे अहम योगदान रहा l
भारत के इस अंतरिम सरकार को रसिया, जापान, इटली, जर्मनी सहित करीब एक दर्जन से अधिक देशों ने सर्मथन दिया था l
नार्थइस्ट के करीब सभी राज्यों को इस सरकार ने अंग्रेजों से मुक्त भी करा चुके l
