पढ़ाई पूरी करने के बाद उन्होंने लेफ्टिनेंट गवर्नर के दफ्तर जो पश्चिम उत्तर प्रदेश में अनुवादक की नौकरी की l

फिर ब्रिटिश सरकार ने बाद में उन्हें डिप्टी कलेक्टर का पद दिया, साथ ही उन्हें राजा के उपाधि से सम्मानित किया l उन्होंने कालिदास के अभिज्ञान शंकुतलम , रघुवर, और मेघदूतम का हिन्दी में अनुवाद किया l जिन से काफी लोकप्रियता मिलीं l

 और अन्त में 14 जुलाई 1896 को उनका निधन हो गया l

9 October 1857 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

 After completing his studies, he worked as a translator in the lieutenant governor's office in western Uttar Pradesh.

 Then the British government later gave him the post of Deputy Collector, as well as honored him with the title of Raja. He translated Kalidasa's Abhigyan Shankutalam, Raghuvar, and Meghdootam into Hindi. Which gained a lot of popularity.

 And finally he died on 14 July 1896.
